Amazing once again!!
This my second time there. I love everything about this camp: service, food, etc but my favorite thing are the rooms. Mostly floor to ceiling windows all around so it doesn’t feel like you’re staying in a dark tent. The views are spectacular!!

Perfect location and ambiance
Mara Bush Camp is one of several outstanding Soroi Safari lodges. Staying at a smaller tent camp offers a more intimate experience with made to order meals, sundowners, and personalized attention. The platform tents offer upscale bedding, a en-suite bathroom, and turndown service. Its location in the forest on the banks of the river and the ability to dine indoors or outside really adds to the ambiance. We have stayed there twice and won’t hesitate to return!

Fabulous safaris and perfect place to stay
Excellent location with a great atmosphere. The glamping tents/rooms were super clean and the hot water was wonderful. It is impossible to compare the value of the staff. They were always there for you and were 100% committed to providing the best experience for us. The chef belongs in a Michelin level restaurant. If you want a true Masai Mara experience, go!!!

Perfekter Aufenthalt
Wir, 4 Personen, waren für 3 Tage in dieser wunderbaren Lodge. Vom ersten Moment an gab uns das fantastische Team das Gefühl mehr als willkommen zu sein. Wir wurden durch mehrere Personen mit einem Getränk empfangen. Der Check in war perfekt. Wir haben drei Zelte bezogen, die keinen Wunsch offen lassen. Der Blick von den Terrassen ist einmalig. Ein wundervoller Rückzugsort zwischen den Fahrten. Als herausragend empfanden wir das Essen. Aus einer kleinen Karte, die aber für jeden etwas bietet, sucht man sich die Wunschgerichte aus, die dann Mittags und Abends serviert werden. Die Qualität hat uns alle überrascht. Es war jedesmal fantastisch und auch der Chefkoch kam nach jedem Essen an unseren Tisch, um sich nach unserer Meinung zu erkundigen. Auch der Service am Tisch war sehr unaufdringlich und super aufmerksam. Sie haben sich wirklich Zeit für uns genommen und wir haben immer kleine Leckereien nach unseren Fahrten bekommen, die wir nicht erwartet haben. Wir waren überaus zufrieden. Das gesamte Team ist Top, die Unterkünfte und die Lage sind wunderbar, das Essen und Ambiente hervorragend. Wir können diese Lodge uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

An unforgettable family experience during Christmas
We stayed 4 nights as a family during Christmas at Soroi Samburu Lodge, and the experience was simply unforgettable. What truly made the difference was the staff: 10000/10. Every single member of the team was kind, attentive and genuinely welcoming. A very special thank you to the gentleman who took such great care of us, whom we affectionately called “Mr. Sánchez” (as a nickname for my father). The level of service throughout our stay was exceptional. We would also like to highlight Mario, our safari guide. His knowledge was outstanding, and he managed to find everything we hoped to see. Thanks to him, the safaris were absolutely amazing and the whole family left delighted. The food was incredible. The chef is truly talented — every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared and exceeded our expectations. The rooms are large and spacious, with impeccable décor and breathtaking views. The setting, the calm atmosphere and being surrounded by nature made the experience even more special. In summary, an outstanding stay in every sense. Thank you to the entire team for making this Christmas a memory we will treasure forever. We would definitely love to return.

Tolle Zeit mitten im Busch
Das Soroi Mara Bush Camp war eine tolle Erfahrung. Mitten im Busch und direkt am Mara River. Das Essen und der Service waren großartig. Um ein krankes Familienmitglied wurde sich aufopferungsvoll gekümmert und auch eine Krankenschwester steht zur Verfügung. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Da das Camp mitten im Busch liegt, darf man bei Dunkelheit und Dämmerung nur in Begleitung von Masai Wächtern durch das Camp laufen. In unserer Zeit dort liefen Nilpferde, Hyänen und auch ein Leopard Nachts durchs Camp, ist halt mitten in der Wildnis. Daher hört man viele Tiere z.B. Nilpferde, welche Nachts im nahen River planschen und rumgrunzen. Die Zelte sind purer Luxus alles ist vorhanden. Während man beim Abendessen ist, wird das Zelt „bettfein“ gemacht, was heißt: die Mosquitonetze werden ausgebreitet, Wärmflaschen im Bett und es wird noch kurz sauber gemacht. Am letzten Abend noch einen Sundowner gemacht, was ein toller Abschluss war mit guten Drinks und leckeren Snacks.

So much more than we expected!
Everything about this place is just special. The people are amazing, and definitely made our stay there a unique experience. We actually were kind of worried about about food/water before our first trip to Africa, but oh boy, we were so wrong. The food at the camp was absolutely amazing, the kitchen with chef John is just amazing. And then there are the game drives. We went on game drives with our great driver Mario who also served us kind of a bush-breakfast twice, which was such a cool experience and we were glad to share same time outside the jeep with him. The fact that nature was very kind to us and offered us some great sightings made the games drives unforgettable experiences for us. Everyting was perfectly organized (the flights, transports, and the guys at camp even helped us get our missing bags from the airport) and even though it might seem quiet a lot of money for the average working peron, it is worth every cent. The memories we made during our stay are priceless! So once again, a big Thank you to all the guys at the camp and at Soroi who helped make this trip an unforgettable one for us. Bernhard & Lili

Wunderschöne Lodge!
Unser Aufenthalt im Cheetah Camp war fantastisch! Die Lodge ist klein. Ruhe und Privatsphäre sind garantiert! Wir hatten ein Familienzelt und es war sehr großzügig geschnitten, wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Dazu hatte man noch eine fantastische Aussicht. Unendliche Weiten! Das Essen war köstlich und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Riesen Dank an das Personal! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Fazit: Wenn jemand eine kleine, aber feine Lodge mit jedlichem Komfort sucht, ist hier genau richtig!

Really recommended lodge
The lodge was amazing, great location inside Samburu. The staff was really kind and always super attentive, the food also needs mentioning because really good. The rooms are great, with really great views to the river. I don’t think I have anything negative to say, more of a private lodge with great atmosphere and great safaris.

Disappointing value for money
Disappointing experience for a multigenerational trip in the lead up to Xmas. The Lodge felt old and outdated and in need of maintenance. Small rooms and very small bathrooms and not very accessible for seniors. Did not feel like good value for money. My recommendation is to Stay at their newer bigger and better sister accommodation Cheetah Tented Camp for the same rate!
Beautiful lodge and great staff
The lodge is beautifully designed and very serene with spacious and tastefully furnished rooms. Enhancing the tea/coffee stations and including bathrobes as a standard amenity would add lots of value. Our guide, Mario, was stellar; we saw several lions, 4 leopards, including a cub, and a cheetah with a kill over the period of our stay. We even had a tusker pass right outside our rooms at around 2:00AM on our final night. Richard, our room steward; Joshua, Daktari at the bar, Adam and Daniel were especially warm during our stay. The food was consistently good, especially the set menu options. The flourless black forest cake was a hit. It would have been great to have a wider liqueur selection at the New Year's cocktail events, as creams were MIA. Overall we had a marvellous stay and would highly recommend. ~The Opiyo Family

My family came from the United States to stay at the Mara Bush Camp. The experience completely exceeded our expectations! The staff was friendly, attentive to all of our needs, and had a great sense of humor. The accommodations were beautiful!! Turned down beds with a hot watter bottle placed under the sheets each night. Food was delicious and would highly recommend a sunrise breakfast and a Sun Downer "happy hour" both out on the safari. Melissa and Emmanual were top notch as our camp customer service reps. Leeky assisted us at meals with patience and a smile. Mapi escorted us to and from our tents, assuring safety at all times. Looking for an amazing Safari experience....Mara Bush Camp 100%.

A Safari Camp Far Above the Rest
From the gourmet meals to the beautiful elevated tent cabins to a prime location along the riverbank teaming with birds and wildlife, Soroi Larsen’s Camp exceeds expectations. Due to the varied habitats and excellent guides, you will likely see on the twice-daily game drives, a wide variety of animals including lion, leopard, cheetah, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Eisa oryx, gazelles, Somali Ostrich, gerenuk, and a huge variety of birds. (Five of these special species can only be found in Samburu). This is our second time staying here and our third safari. We would not hesitate to return over and over again to this camp.

Our Second home, A Place of Return ✨
We stayed at the Soroi Mara Bush Camp for nine days over the December holidays, and it was the experience of a lifetime! The staff here are what make this place 5-star. From the warm welcome from the camp managers, Emmanuel and Melissa, who ensured every detail was perfect for our entire nine-day stay. All the staff were incredible. The service was outstanding, the tents were luxurious and comfortable. Our tent was stunning—spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We always love the thoughtful touches like hot water bottles in the bed every night, which was much appreciated on cooler evenings! And the food was incredible. We enjoyed a wide variety of excellent meals. The game drives were exceptional. Our guide, Steve Narasha, was brilliant at spotting animals and made our game drives truly memorable. The Camp is nestled in the wilderness, well hidden from day- trippers , creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. Hearing the sounds of hyenas and lions near our tent at night was a thrill we will never forget. Thank you to all the staff for an unforgettable stay. We recommend this camp 100%!
