I don't recommend this building materials store. They sell old materials, as you can see from the sticker. The pieces are broken, and when you call the office, they don't give you a refund. They don't even offer credit. It's a company that doesn't provide any guarantee on its materials. I don't recommend them if you're looking to buy building materials. Beware, they sell damaged and old materials.
Ten cuidado, venden materiales dañados y viejos.
First of all, they should be ashamed. And they shouldn't be lying because the materials were purchased on Saturday. Due to the cold temperatures, work wasn't done; installation only began Wednesday morning. A lot of materials were purchased on Saturday. I'm a general contractor with over 10 years of experience working on the island, and it's not the first time that materials have been purchased. I called the office to request a refund or an exchange, and the owner said no and that it wasn't his problem. Why can't they be more pleasant? Since it's a building materials business, I'm a certified installer with Cambridge Armortec; I know how this works. I'm not just any customer. In this message, I'm writing to you because you don't have good communication skills or a proper way of serving your customers. It doesn't matter if it's four or more pieces of materials; what matters is good communication and helping every customer, especially when they're spending a lot of money. Buying from them is about helping customers with their needs and selling quality products, not junk. How could I, as a contractor, install junk materials for my clients? I'd rather lose money myself than leave my clients with bad references, and you already have them. From this point on, you'll never see any of my guys or any of my clients buying junk from your place again. And let that be perfectly clear. Be honest and pay more attention to what you sell to your customers. I'll even share this message with the branches and my groups so they understand the reality and always check before buying. I had a bad experience with you.

Hi Eduardo, we’re sorry to hear you were unhappy and appreciate the chance to clarify. The caps you purchased are new Cambridge material, not old stock, the sticker in your photo clearly shows an October 2025 production date, which is current and standard in our industry. You contacted us almost a week after pickup about four caps with small edge chips, at which point the pallet had already been opened and the stones handled on the job site. Once material leaves our yard, chips can occur during transport or installation, which is why we ask customers to inspect their order at pickup and call us the same day or next day if there’s any issue. Based on the photos you provided, the caps show minor edge chips consistent with normal handling, not defective or “old” material, so given the time that had passed we were not able to offer an exchange or refund.
