I cannot say enough about my experience with Lisa and Hunter! My 5 month old mini Aussie was loved, cared for, and well trained after his 2-weeks with Lisa. She kept me informed on his progress through videos and texts and was always just a phone call away. My puppy is now a joy to walk and follows the basic commands that has made puppyhood safe AND manageable for a 72 year old owner. She and Hunter have given me so many tips on maintaining the training and their expertise is proven through their many satisfied dog owners. My pup had a recent hiccup interacting with other dogs and Lisa made a home visit on a Saturday to help me and my pup work through it. Yes, you read that right! She is remarkable. I recommend both Lisa and Hunter as true professionals who love dogs. Thank you!

Ecstatic!!! Met with Hunter today for an evaluation and am completely confident this is the right place for my RainDrop...I saw a drastic improvement from her just within a few minutes...Hunter is calm, caring, confident and completely knowledgeable...he gave me a sense of peace! In the days leading up to this, Lisa had been completely available for my questions and concerns... going above and beyond, allowing me to vent my frustrations even, furthermore she told me I may reach out with any concerns between now and our enrollment time...the grounds are quite impressive too... I'm extremely happy I've chosen H.K. Dog Training for their Puppy Board and Train Program... and the best part is I will be trained to... this is a team effort... I'll then have the knowledge I need to continue instilling the lessons we've learned...we look forward to joining their program soon...off to a fabulous start and going the distance for a lifetime of happiness! Hunter worked an actual miracle on our two mini doxies. Absolute menaces outside the house with other dogs, people, and cars. Barked uncontrollably with strangers inside the house. We can now take them to the beach, the brewery and they are very polite. They will place in the house when people walk in the door. Incredible work and makes all of our lives better. Also, he didn’t ask us to leave a review. Tried and true, he does amazing work.

Hunter boarded my Maltese and my roommates Maltipoo for 8 days. They came home super happy and even combed! Hunter knows dogs and treats them so well. He kept our babies happy and safe. Will use his services again.

We have a high energy male mini golden doodle 9 month old puppy. He is not our first dog and have had little challenges with training the others. But our doodle’s personality is quite different. House breaking was a breeze, but working with his independent personality was a challenge. Hunter has totally changed that struggle and helped tremendously, both training our doodle and us. We learned how to channel his high energy positively and our doodle learned commands that he responds to quickly. I can now take him on walks without him pulling and take him on outings and his behavior is socially acceptable.

Hunter went above and beyond to help train my dog and actually myself as well. He is excellent with the animals. I totally support his theories. The most important trait is he listens to the owner. I would recommend him to anyone and give him a positive reference if asked! Too bad he could not train my husband!, too expensive. You will not regret the investment!!
