Cane Sportivo has helped us train both a Malinois mix and a Beagle mix. Her help has been instrumental in developing two well-behaved dogs. One of the most helpful aspects of the training is the time spent teach us, the owners, how to work with our dogs and become better communicators with them. She has also been a great resource for helping us find appropriate toys and training tools (leashes, collars, balls, etc). We're looking forward to getting more advanced training from Cane Sportivo for the Mal, now that she's no longer a pup. We've also used her boarding service, and were extremely pleased. Highly recommended. She REALLY knows her stuff and is a great teacher for the dogs and the owners.

Our dog Hank was a rescue with nervous tendencies that caused him to be aggressive around strangers or other dogs. Cane Sportivo was the perfect fit. They took time to work through his needs to train him to be controllable even in high stress situations. We are able to go in public and be around other dogs with no issues!

When I decided to find a trainer Diesel ran off after another dog and got lost for 4 days. I knew I couldn’t let that happen again. I found Amber through the internet. I checked her reviews and they were excellent. I was ready to do the 4 week board and train, after which I talked to Amber and I decided to have him stay for the 6 week program. I could not be happier. Diesel is a total different dog. He is happier and more confident than before training. He is so well behaved. I never thought I would be able to go for a walk, and having him stay right beside me instead of having to worry about getting pulled down. We are happier together because the tension is not there. We can enjoy our time together. I can’t thank Amber enough for helping us. She is an amazing trainer. She also treats your dog like her own. I would suggest her to anyone anytime.

I dropped off a t-rex german shepherd and picked up a well-mannered lady. My dog was a full forced jumper that would kool-aid man any fence in her path. Getting her in the car required body builder strength and meticulous planning. Now, she knows her boundaries and her place in the household. We are living in happiness and harmony! Highly recommend!

If you have a dog and have nearly lost all hope with trying to train them to stop biting, jumping on you and others and they are generally out of control, CALL AMBER! We tried trainers at the big box stores and we got nowhere. Amber is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of training dogs of all sizes. Our puppy had grown to well over a 100 pounds in no time and had completely taken over our lives. After the first training, we saw an immediate impact thanks to Amber. She worked with our dog, as well as with us. We now have the wonderful addition to our family that we had when we first got him as a puppy. Don't waste your time elsewhere. Amber is absolutely fantastic and we can't thank her enough.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Amber and Canine Sportivo! Her training is individualized for my dog and my needs. My dog (a rescue) was grown with lots of energy and bad habits through no fault of his own. Amber accomplished a great deal in a relatively short period of time, and the training is solid. She came out today for the one week on site follow up lesson. I couldn’t be happier!
