We had an absolutely wonderful time. Colleen is an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide (and driver!) who filled us in on lot of local history and lore, and was happy to answer any and all questions. We made several stops for photo opportunities as well as stops at Aughnanure Castle, the Quiet Man Bridge and Kylemore Abbey. Absolutely recommended.

An A+ Tour! We had the most fabulous private tour with Colleen. She took us to everything we wanted to see and then some. Great discoveries, wonderful stories, historical context, and a great sense of humor made our tour very memorable. Top notch all the way. New Fear of Ferries🤢 I loved seeing the islands and our guide on Innismore was very informative having grown up there. The ferry ride there and back was another story. There was a storm on our original date, so we rescheduled for the next day and though there was no rain, the waters were so rough that I couldn’t even go out on the deck to see the cliffs. The boat was rocking so violently I thought it would capsize. I wasn’t the only one feeling sick and holding on for dear life. The crew was passing out bags. I have never been so happy to be back on solid ground. I have seen photos taken on days when the water was still, so I am sure our experience was atypical, but I recommend asking if the water is calm before taking this tour.

Worth the trip. Just cannot control the weather unfortunately. Informative and fluid pickup and dropoff points. Ferry is big and smooth on larger waves. Island guide Mike was funny and educational on the Aran history. Seeing the Cliffs of Moher from ferry view a perfect way to leave islands.

Would give Colleen 10 stars if I could. Very personable and hospitable, and was pleased to share her intimate knowledge of Galway and Connemara. Colleen made every effort to tailor the tour to meet our interests and to accommodate all 6 in our group, ranging in age from 9 to 75. We will certainly be reaching out to her again the next time we are in Co. Galway. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible time on our tour. The guide was so knowledgable and entertaining. The sites they chose for the Castles of Connemara tour were perfect for our interests in architecture and history, but she was also knowledgable about all of the random things we asked her about politics, nature, food, etc.
