Laura from Pro Playgrounds helped us purchase some wood mulch for our child care business playground. I had contacted all the other companies in the area and everyone said they would have to get back to us with a price and we waited days for a response. I then called Laura and she was on it!! She e-mailed me within an hour with the cost, followed up the same day with a phone call, and two days after that they installed the mulch. I couldn't believe the response time! It was so refreshing to work with someone who knew what they were doing!! Thank you Laura!!!
Not what we expected
Our school had a very negative experience with Pro Playgrounds. Communication was unreliable from the beginning, and getting responses or clear information was always a challenge.
They over-ordered playground materials and left the unused supplies sitting in front of our school when the job was finished — then charged us for them. When we asked them to remove the extra materials, they refused, so we had to pay another company to haul them away.
Soon after installation, a part of the playground broke. Our contract included a guarantee, and Pro Playgrounds initially said they would repair it — but they never showed up. Eventually they stopped responding to emails altogether, and our phone calls were met with repeated promises that someone would “call us back,” which never happened.
When we received the final invoice, we explained that we would pay once the playground was repaired under the warranty. Instead of completing the repair they were contractually obligated to perform, they sent us a notice from a lawyer threatening legal action if the invoice was not paid.
We spent a significant amount of money trusting this company, and were left with extra costs, an unresolved repair, and legal threats instead of customer service. I strongly discourage others from using Pro Playgrounds.
