My son attended a birthday party at Pets on the Green and had the best time! He loved meeting and handling all the animals — it was such a fun, hands-on experience.
Ciara is amazing and absolutely brilliant with both the kids and the animals.
I’d highly recommend Pets on the Green for birthday parties or even just a fun activity with the kids. We’ll definitely be booking soon so my other children can experience it too!
Pets on the Green was an utterly brilliant experience from start to finish. Ciera was so engaging with the children and has a truly passionate nature—you can tell she genuinely cares about what she does. The kids were captivated the whole time, and the experience was both fun and educational. I couldn’t recommend this enough and will absolutely be booking again!

We've just had one of the best experience as a SEN family, we were so engrossed we forgot to take photos.
Ciera is extremely knowledgeable, clearly loves her animals and the experience she offers. The whole visit was relaxed and informative. We'll be back when the baby hedgehogs have been born!
We had a fabulous time with Ciera and all her pets. Our children thoroughly enjoyed learning all about the animals and having the opportunity to handle so many of them. Ciera was so gentle in her approach when one of our girls felt a bit anxious and by the end, she was holding animals and didn’t want to leave! They especially loved the opportunity to see sugar gliders and Pygmy hedgehogs. We would 100% recommend visiting Ciera.
I cannot recommend Pets at the Green more highly. We booked a private animal handling session for my daughter’s birthday and had the best time. Ciara is so knowledgeable about her animals, and clearly cares for them deeply. All of the animals were so well socialised and friendly, from the chameleons, hedgehogs, skinny pigs, rabbits and gorgeous Rosie the cockatoo. The handling area is spotless and the time absolutely flew by. We could have stayed all day and ran out time - there are so many animals to see.
Ciara is so generous with her time and her animals, the entire family loved every second. Special shout out to Gary the Hedgehog for letting us bath him, and Rosie who fell in love with my husband.
A really impressive set up, and Ciara is a very impressive young lady. We will definitely be back (once a week if my kids had their way).

We had an absolutely fantastic morning here! My children (7 & 3) were thrilled to hold such an incredible variety of reptiles and small mammals—it was a truly unforgettable experience for them. Ciera’s knowledge is exceptional, and her passion for her animals shines so brightly that it makes the whole visit even more special. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked our next trip back—can’t wait!
I attended Pets on the Green with my 11-year-old daughter. Ciera is a friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable owner and businesswoman. My daughter immediately warmed to her friendly caring nature. The animals are beautiful and well cared for. Ciera is confident with her animals and clearly loves sharing the experience of handling them with children who visit her. I have rated this experience as a 5* but actually this experience goes far beyond that rating. Such an amazing experience, my daughter said it was the best and is desperate to return. I have fallen in love with Frankie the hairless guineapig, such a gorgeous little thing and such a pleasure to have a cuddle with him. This truly is a great experience for the young and old.

Ciera’s knowledge of the animals, and her obvious care and love for them are fantastic. We all had the best time, and will definitely be booking to see the animals again!
A wonderful experience provided by a fantastic host. I booked the private handling experience for my daughter’s birthday and it was so much more than we could have expected. Ciera was so knowledgeable and took time to interact with the entire family by answering all our questions and making this a really memorable experience. It was immediately obvious that she was passionate about all her animals and keen to share her knowledge on each and every animal we held. The environment was lovely and welcoming and we did not feel rushed at any point. Lots of photo opportunities and even a chance to bathe baby hedgehogs made this the best birthday treat ever.
We had a brilliant experience at Pets on the Green. Ciera was fab with the children and adults and was incredibly knowledgeable. The animals are clearly adored and very well cared for and all the children had lots of opportunities to handle the different animals if they wanted to. I highly recommend this experience 😊
I took my 2 granddaughters for a visit, and they loved every minute; they couldn’t wait to tell their parents all about it. I was very impressed with Ciera’s enthusiasm and passion for her animals, and she made the children feel very at ease. All the girls’ questions were answered clearly and with extra information. We will definitely be going again.
We booked Ciera to entertain 12 children at our son's birthday party - we were absolutely blown away with the service. It was the perfect mix of being professional but very friendly and the kids and adults all had a fantastic time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and have had such great feedback from other parents who have heard lots of enthusiastic stories from their children.
Thanks again - you made the party really special and I'm sure we will be booked in to visit the animals soon. The animals all seemed very loved, happy and well cared for which was really important to us.
What an incredible place and an incredible teenager! I am in awe of Ciera’s success and knowledge of the animals. She is welcoming and very easy going, which put my daughter at ease immediately. My daughter has been out of school for over a year and rarely leaves the house. Coming today boosted her confidence so much and left her feeling excited and I saw her smile from ear to ear, which is a rare occurance nowadays. I now finally have somewhere we can attend regularly and I am so grateful to such a wonderful human being. Thank you Ciera! P.s. the hedgehogs are so cute and I want one!
