I’ve been seeing Peter Pope for shockwave therapy for GTPS, and he’s been very clear from our first session about the path to recovery - in particular, in getting the balance right between loading and strengthening my glutes but not causing a flare up. Peter also made me feel comfortable and less nervous about shockwave therapy itself. I really appreciate his decisive input and guidance in my recovery.

Both Elinor and Amy have been excellent - both professional and friendly. The initial assessment was very thorough and the strength exercises and soft tissue massage have been very effective. I have been introduced to Reformer Pilates which I really enjoyed. Best of all, I have started running again! Highly recommended..

Elinor at Movement Perfected is highly recommended. I suffered from a sports related injury for over 2 years and bounced around multiple different physios with no success. After one session Elinor found the root cause and put me on a rehab program that got me back to sport in 2 months. Thank you so much Elinor!

I cannot recommend Movement Perfected enough. From the first session through to the last there was a comprehensive plan which was then reviewed after each appointment. Very knowledgeable and attentive staff, and I would not hesitate in returning, should any other problems of this nature arise. Many thanks for your help.

Alex Smart is an incredible physio. I was training for a Hyrox and got injured and was worried I wasn’t going to be at my best for the race, but Alex’s advice was invaluable in getting me back on track. Not only is he an incredibly knowledgeable physio, he’s a Hyrox athlete himself so really understood my needs.

I can’t praise Movement Perfected enough—they’ve been instrumental in helping me manage my GTPS. Keya’s Reformer Pilates sessions are truly top-notch; she strikes the perfect balance between pushing you and allowing you to progress independently, which I really appreciate. I always leave her sessions feeling energized and refreshed, and I genuinely look forward to them throughout the week. Thanks to their support, I’ve gone from limping to walking with strength, but more importantly, both Elinor and Keya have helped me regain my confidence, which often takes a hit with pain and injuries. I’ve fallen in love with Pilates, and it’s now a lifelong practice for me!

Alex is one of the best physios I’ve ever seen. He explains the science behind the exercises and really has enabled me to understand my body better. I’ve always found my injuries easier to manage when I truly understand the cause and the ways to reduce pain, which is why it’s so key to know the why behind what you’re doing with rehab.
