My pet isn't currently a patient here and I haven’t used their services before, so you might wonder why I'm leaving a five-star review. My pet is actually registered elsewhere, but I rang Ironstone for a second opinion. From the receptionist to the vet, the level of care was so high you’d think I was a long-time paying client.
What does this say about this business? It says they aren’t just here for the money; they truly care about helping people and their pets. Once my pet's current treatment is finished, I’ll definitely be looking to switch to this practice—I just hope they have space for us!"

Our first visit today to see tasha for a follow up appointment with our cocker spaniel as usual Tasha was kind, polite and very knowledgeable, all the rest of the staff we met were lovely. The surgery was smart, spotlessly clean and welcoming. We wish them every success in their new venture. Many thanks.

heartbreakingly we lost our beautiful little Molly on 23 Dec but cannot thank Tasha enough for all her dedicated care, going above and beyond to care for her, and being amazing with her when she had to be pts. Also Rebeka the vet nurse and Anna on reception who were kind and caring.
I would recommend them to anyone, modern vets with old fashioned values for care, with a true passion for animals which shines through,

Absolutely amazing practice will really go the extra mile for your pets. Didn’t know who to go to when I got my new puppy after having a terrible experience with other vets and just being there for money. They stayed open late to treat my pet and always receive the best service and support with advice.

Can’t thank Ironstone Vets enough. They got Mavis in the same day I rang, which was such a relief. We saw Rob the vet who was really thorough, explained everything clearly and sent me home with a plan of action, leaving me instantly reassured. Mavis is a bit of a tinker, but everyone was so patient and kind. Mavis would like to thank Becky the nurse for the loves and liver paste which made everything ok. Such a warm, welcoming place - would absolutely recommend. 🐾

Recently needed to visit the vet with my cat for a dental. Its the first time i've needed to use their services and cannot rave about them enough. Every member of staff has been fab, so friendly and caring and nothing is too much trouble.

On arrival with Ronnie our cat [my sons car had broken down in their car park] the staff were fab even taking Ronnie in while Jonathan tried to sort his car out.
So compassionate friendly and caring.
Ronnie was looked after exceptionally well by the staff. Treatment explained to us easily after I arrived to take over from Jonathan.
I immediately started a cat plan up and requested my old vet to transfer notes to Ironstones.
Price of Treatment was unbelievable and all the staff we saw were amazing. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST.THANK YOU

Used these vets and the care is second to none! would highly recommend! Were there for me when i needed to take 1 of my cats, Molly, in urgently even when wasnt registered. Unfortunately had to get her put down but the vet (Tasha that day) was very caring and compasionate and gave me time with Molly even though she had others waiting to be seen! They cremated her, sent paw prints and fur through the post aswell as a sympathy card which was vert thoughtful! Registered 2 of my other cats there that currently werent under a vet but hoping to register the rest! Cant thank them enough!

I found the vet in a emergency, my golden girl Jack russell Bella had once agen had got a infection in her front drew claw. She had been born with none to little vain in both front paws, she would alway have problems with them, fist vist they identified that she would be better with them removed which we agreed after 10 years of problems. 10 years of Birmingham vets and it tuck to move up noth to get a vet who cared about my girl. Wow, the after care to my Bell was expecial, with a no extra cost out of hours call to fitting us in for a check up 10 mins be for closings. This vets are wonderful, and a big asset to the Community.

From the first phone conversation to the day of my dogs appointment, this establishment was friendly kind and considerate and took care of my almost 17 year old border terrier Marley who has sadly came to the end of his time with my family… the staff were great I would definitely recommend to family and friends

Exceptional vet practice
This vet practice is what every vet practice should be like.
Me and my son took our dog Rufus to see Rob this afternoon.
Rufus hates his nails being clipped and we thought they were really long and needed an experienced person on board.
We definitely got an experienced person (Rob).
Once he got down and started interacting with Rufus, apart from him getting his face cleaned, Rob actually informed us on the way my dog stands and his structural build that his nails are how they should be.
Will definitely be going there again my son didn't want to leave as he had so many questions on various things even after Rob had answered the majority of them.
Other places only allow you to discuss the main reason you made the appointment, if you mentioned something else you are told to book another appointment for it to be looked at.
Would highly recommend ironstone vets to all who want their pets put first.

Great experience overall, our appointment was with Rob and he couldn’t have been more helpful. We will definitely be using this clinic moving forward.
