We had such an amazing experience with Gold Star Family Poodles that we came back for a second puppy. Our first puppy from Leroy bonded instantly with our daughter and when she moved to New Orleans and took her with her, we didn’t hesitate to make the drive all the way from North Carolina back to Ohio for another. Every single puppy we’ve seen from Leroy has been perfect in every way. Healthy, well socialized and with the sweetest temperament. You can tell they’re raised with real care and attention. Leroy is incredibly easy to work with and goes above and beyond to make everything smooth. He communicates clearly, has everything prepared in advance and makes pickup day simple and stress free. We would absolutely recommend Gold Star Family Poodles to anyone looking for a new four legged family member. This is a breeder worth driving hours for.

We picked up our standard golden doodle “Briar” 6 weeks ago. We have had her to our vet twice since then. Both times our vet has said how great a puppy she is. She looks older and mature and he bone structure is really good. She said we got a great puppy. The transaction with Gold Star was great. Out ver was impressed with all the vaccines being up to date when we got her. She has quickly learned to sit, down, fetch and shake. I highly recommend this family breeder.

If I could give a 10 star I would!!! We bought a standard golden doodle from Leroy 5 years ago, unfortunately we lost him to a malpractice incident. He was the best dog ever, so loving and friendly! We called Leroy immediately, he answered right away, and we explained our situation. He asked who the mother and father was to that doodle – he said the mother was no longer in service but the father was and he had a litter due in a few weeks. He said our daughter could have the pick of the litter. He sent us pictures and our family fell in love – not only did my daughter get one but our family walked away with 3!!! Leroy’s communication with the purchaser is top notch- even after we had our pups for a month, he checked in on them!!! We had a wonderful experience picking up our puppy! Leroy couldn't have been friendlier and was very helpful answering all our questions. Our puppy Diggy (prev Kian) is the happiest pup! He loves people, kids and other dogs. He was potty trained in 2 weeks and is very receptive to training. Overall we had a great experience with Gold Star Family Poodles and would recommend to anyone looking for a happy, healthy poodle!

We are loving our new puppy. "Inez" who's now renamed "Millie" is the happiest puppy ever. At first I was skeptical about the process but it was nothing to worry about. Shortly after my deposit was made a delivery date was scheduled and the delivery company got in touch with me for delivery ETA. She's very beautiful, healthy, and growing. The process was impeccably smooth I would refer anyone who's looking for a new poodle puppy. I would use this company over & over again. Definitely would do business again if i get puppy fever again.

Our baby LuLu is amazing she is so smart, very adaptable. Her first weekend she spent with 6 of our grandkids she played and slept with them not any complaining she had a blast. I am a professional dog trainer, Crosswinds K9, Claysville, PA, and chose to purchase a Poodle from Gold Star Family Poodles. After 3 days I can say this is a perfect puppy for an 8 and 11 year old. Temperament is solid, no weakness. Color is rich. Genetic testing done by breeder. AKC registered. If you are looking for a puppy that is outgoing, sweet temperament, healthy and will blend in with family – this is the place to buy from. As a trainer, I can say I see too many Standard Poodles that are nervy, weak, bad health, over priced and not suitable to family environment. I will be sending anyone looking for a Standard Poodle to Gold Star Family Poodles.

Our experience was wonderful! Leroy was prompt in his responses, very accommodating, and very friendly throughout the whole experience. The puppies were all very well taken care of; it was apparent when we went to choose from the litter and then, when we went to pick up a few weeks later. The whole litter we saw all looked happy and healthy. Just three days with our two baby girls and we feel so lucky, they are great pups who adjusted quickly to their new home; another indication that Leroy and his family have taken very good care of them. I would definitely recommend for anybody looking for a new dog!
