If I could give a Dental practice more than 5 stars, I would!!! This place is great! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the kindest and most welcoming staff. Kim sets the tone for this amazing office and she does NOT disappoint. Besides being highly competent, her warm demeanor radiates the office Then, the Dental Assistant, Jessi makes you feel comfortable and calms any nerves you may be feeling. She fit both my temporary and permanent crowns with excellence! Lastly, Dr. Spencer is fantastic! From our very first meeting, he took the time to not only listen to the issues I was having but worked hard to understand the "why" of what I was experiencing. Honestly, I could not be happier with my experience at Dunedin Dental Associates and Dr. Spencer will forever by my Dentist! Thanks, DDA for everything!!!
I cracked a tooth and was recommended to go here. Worst experience ever. I found the Dentist talked more to his associates than he did to me, who was in immense pain. During my procedure all they did is act like all of them were at a bar chatting, not working on my mouth and life altering pain. His assistant was so bad at taking X-rays that she did it wrong, and they had to take another and charge $ for it. Forget the radiation that goes into your mouth. But also no one explained to me why additional X-rays were necessary so I understood. The receptionist, the most toxic and rude dared ask me if I just wanted the broken tooth replaced or to have this be my dentist, I stated, just fix what is broken, why would I commit to a dentist that I had not been happy with? You have to earn that. I planned to see if the dentist would give me a better 2nd impression, and maybe I had been wrong, but the toxic controlling receptionist just stated 3 days before Christmas, "no, you will not be OK here", without allowing me to chat with the dentist to see if my fears could have been calmed down and I could have gained his trust the 2nd time. She was the reason for this review, as I had figured maybe the dentist was off his game and just needed to treat senior citizens with more care. But her disregard for my need to have replaced the tooth that was pulled was unconscionable, and I felt she overstepped so much by not setting up a time for me to talk to the dentist and see if there was a way to have him finish the process of replacing a tooth he pulled. Very sad response from the receptionist, and it should not matter if I want one tooth fixed or a whole mouth, it's about caring about the condition that you leave someone in. She was so uncaring and made my bad impression much worse, affirming that something is wrong here. I would never let a receptionist choose for me, who I treat and who I do not. They should get to talk to the dentist and figure that out themselves. It's a shame, I never expected to have anyone care less about your condition than all of these people did, and they charge a lot. Maybe, they have something against senior citizens, I have no idea, but they were terrible to me.
