I have been seeing Dr. Chan and his team for about a year now and it has been a great experience.
I receive my care plan electronically ahead of time to review, and the insurance coverage and costs are transparent. When I arrive, I’m checked in and ready to be examined within 5 minutes.
Dr. Chan and his team are detail-oriented and very gentle with my teeth. He thoroughly explains everything he is doing and provides photos of my teeth before, during, and after each procedure.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Chan. He is an outstanding dentist, very detailed, patient, and truly cares about doing things right. He did a fantastic job on my crown and every procedure I've had has been handled with care and precision. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly.

Dr. Brian Chan, Marcie, Andrea and the entire staff at Classic Dental Smiles are the best the business! I've had a lot of work done by Classic Dental Smiles in Rancho Bernardo and I've always felt the treatment plans they recommend are well explained and have helped me keep my teeth healthy and looking great. I love how compassionate and patient they are when I'm feeling anxious about any work being done and they truly take the time to care for their patients. I'll never need to look for another dentist. I trust and know they care about my health and would highly recommend Dr. Chan and his staff without reservations :)!

Having grown up in San Diego, I have been to many dentists and Brian Chan is hands-down the best I've ever been to. I have finally found a dentist that I can trust to take care of my teeth. He is not pushy like other dentists who are trying to nickel and dime you. He is knowledgeable and truly cares for his patients. He will let you know his recommendations and what you need, but won't scare you into getting extra work done that you don't need. He is personable and makes you feel at ease in the dental chair (as much as you possibly can anyways).
His office has all the modern technology that makes x-rays a breeze and other procedures relatively pain free. The staff is friendly and I spend little time in the waiting room. I hardly know what the seat cushions feel like. The hygienist also does a great job and I always leave with my teeth feeling clean and white.
I would, I have and I do recommend Brian H. Chan to all my friends and family.

Still a happy and very satisfied customer six years later! Since then, beautiful updates to the office and lots of new tech that make each visit quick and painless. My hygienist Julie is amazing. So thorough but gentle. Just left from a cleaning and pretty sure I fell asleep multiple times during the cleaning! Classic Dental Smiles still going strong with five stars!
Always friendly staff greeting you by your first name when entering the building. I’ve been a patient of theirs for 20 years and they have modernized their practice over time with state of the art technology to ensure you’re in the best care. Dr Chan has an attention for details and personality sees each patient during a regular cleaning to ensure your teeth are in great health. Their dental cleaning staff are amazing and so gently on your teeth and gum that you’ll literally fall asleep while they do the cleaning. I’ve never had a cavity in my life, much thanks to their care and expertise 😁
