Our church ‘Markham Chinese Baptist Church’ is at the crossroad to determine the best way to handle our church bookkeeping since the complex audit requirement has outgrown our own internal capabilities. We have considered different options including hiring a part time staff, outsourcing the work and recruiting volunteers to do the job. After months of deliberation, we have chosen Charity Essential to handle our bookkeeping and accounting services. This is one of our wisest decisions. Andrey, the founder and Dina, the bookkeeper have done so much to make the transition from Sage to Quick book online as easy as possible. Their patience, skills and knowledge have brought clarity and accuracy to our new accounting software. In addition, Andrey has introduced us to new software applications which allow us to move from traditional paper voucher format and cheques to all digital from submitting electronic expenses claim to direct Email Money Transfer. All these changes have enabled us to focus on our ministry instead of wasting time on “paper” flow which also help the environment. It has been my pleasure to work with them, in particular, Andrey who has been a great communicator to answer all my inquires in a timely manner.

Our Council at the Ontario Society of Artists had an excellent experience working with Charity Essentials. They made our year-end process incredibly smooth, handled our HST rebate filing, and prepared our T3010 with care and accuracy.
