Would not recommend them. I sent an initial email to B&E describing the exact issue with our heating system and then I followed up several days later with a phone call again explaining the same thing. B&E then dispatched a tech for $80 to "diagnose" the issue. The tech arrived on time and was very polite and proceeded to check the a/c portion of the unit which was working properly. He stated that under the circumstances, which I had conveyed with B&E twice previously, he would not be able to diagnose the issue that I had reported about the heating equipment. He charged me the $80 dollars and stated that a sales person should come out and provide a quote for replacing the entire unit. I basically spent $80 and received no progress towards a resolution of the heating issue. Not very good customer service, but that wasn't due to anything that the tech had done. To him I was just another service call on his schedule.

I did not at any time ask for my a/c to be checked, only my heat ex-changer issue. My a/c was working fine with no issues.
I mention the propane source had been removed in my initial inquiry prior to the technician being dispatched.
I had sent an initial email to B&E and received a reply email back as well stating that I would be contacted shortly.
On my follow up conversation concerning the results of the tech's visit no one was demeaned or berated. Because I was dissatisfied and did not agree with what the person was saying they disconnected the call.
The facts stated in your response to my review are inaccurate and thus further validate the nature of my review. If the customer service aspect of B&E would have taken the time to listen and understand my initial request we may have been able to come to a more positive outcome. I will be pursuing replacement of my HVAC system and B&E missed a good opportunity to have a satisfied customer or at the very least to turn this misunderstanding around.
Hi Darryl, we are sorry to hear about your perspective on this matter, however as described to you on site, your furnace could not be test ran as you do not have gas on site and this information was not conveyed to us previously. We did however go over the Air conditioning portion of your system as you had requested and to determine what would be required to “refresh” the system. A Quote for cleaning the equipment for further diagnosis was provided on site of which you declined. Per a conversation between you and the technician you were interested in a quote for a replacement product to consider. As your system was over 20 years old and you believe the furnace side of the appliance was no longer functional. Again I refer to the fact you do not have gas supplied on site to test the furnace side of the appliance.
When our dispatch reached out to you to schedule a free estimate with a comfort advisor you attempted to berate and demean the company and our service rendered and were disgruntled by paying the service fee you were told up front you would have to pay. After attempts were made to de-escalate the conversation you were disconnected as we as service personnel are not here to be punching bags and wish simply to be treated respectfully.
Unfortunately your review far from accurately represents the service performed and we are unaware of where the disconnect came from. We would have been happy to go over your furnace had gas been supplied to the home when we were there to service it.
Additionally we have not corresponded via email, we have only ever received phone calls from you at the time of responding to this review.
We wish you all the best with your future endeavors and if you would like more clarity on the matter we welcome a phone call from you but we ask that you engage in the conversation respectfully.
Service person arrived early and looked at the A/C
Unit diagnosed looked at the problem in and out of the house turn on Control and see the problem right then and there, Fix the A/C and now working very well
Ryan came to our house for a service call. I must say I've had many techs from other companies come do work and no one compares to Ryan. He found the problem and fixed it. He was easy to talk to as I had some questions at times. I always felt He was upfront an honest which i appreciate. I could go on an on about my experience but if you are in need of a great quality great pricing company highly recommend. They are definitely our go to from now on!
* Coming back 2 years later to say Im still impressed with this company. This time we had Zach come out. Its something about hearing your unit come back on! This was an emergency service and Zach was here within the hour. B & E services will always be our go to. Thank you for providing such excellent service.
