I took the two week intensive course with Mark and man I gotta say what a phenomenal experience. Mark is for sure a tough teacher but he does it so that you never build the bad habits that would eventually get you in trouble anyways. He is incredibly knowledgeable and also secretly super kind though he gots that tough American exterior. However I do also want to say all the staff at ABC bartending are amazing people including Mark, Andrena, and the retired man Rick. I want to say truly thank you guys for this wonderful experience at no point did this feel like a cash grab. Every penny put in is directly important to helping us the students and my future alumni peers. The best and most simple thing I can say to all future applicants is If you do the work you will feel the help and support from these great mentors. In addition to this I want to also add that even post certification they have been super helpful in the job acquisition process in ever way even helping to directly build a proper bartenders resume. Truly truly fantastic and wonderful people thank you guys for the absolute wonderful experience and learning environment and I hope you guys keep getting to help develop new students for as long as you guys care too. -Angel R
challenging, but over time I realized that the instructors truly know what they are doing. They are professional, principled, and focused on doing things the right way. I was very glad to be part of this program, gained valuable knowledge, real emotions, and successfully obtained my bartender license. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone serious about the profession.
Mari was an amazing teacher and just overall person! She was hilarious and knows her shit. She also help coordinate with my unique schedule which was super helpful. Before this class knew NOTHING about alcohol or the service industry but now I feel confident and ready to get a job in the field. Thank you Mari!!

Honestly, I thought it would be a lot harder for me because I had literally no knowledge about any drinks but all the instructors were very professional and they have a great way of teaching. I learned to make so many drinks in a short period of time , now after graduating I feel very confident in working as a bartender . Thank you Andreina, Wanda and Mark. I strongly recommend this course for anybody
The course was great, both seriously informative and fun! Over the period of the classes, which has availabilities for many walks of life, the instructors Mark, Andrina, and Wanda deliver excellent and well-structured lessons in all the fundamentals of bartending and mixology: both the drink-making and the service aspects of the workplace.
The instructors entertainingly prepare you to meet the very high expectations of the course, and the even higher expectations of the working environment waiting after graduation. Mark is very clear and straightforward from the get-go, if you have the desire to succeed (the "WANT" you may have heard and will hear so much about!) and take the class seriously, you can manage it, and he and the others will do everything in their power and within reason to help you do so.
For my part, with my batch of great classmates, I had a wonderful experience and met some delightful fellows. With my graduation, I am confident in my ability, and , especially with the assistance the course provides to land interviews and find events, only hope for greater success and to make more great connections going forward.
Would eagerly recommend to anyone interested in bartending who has the time and the means!
This course was an incredible learning experience!
In just 10 days, I learned well over 70 drinks, different techniques for building cocktails, and a solid foundation in spirits and liqueurs.
Mark, Andreina, & Wanda are all extremely knowledgeable, patient, & supportive - they’re passionate about what they teach.
Mark especially brings so much energy to the class! From day 1, he emphasized that we have to WANT to succeed & that mindset really pushed me to do my best. His stories & anecdotes from his years behind the bar really made every lesson fun & memorable.
I also made some great connections with my classmates, and we even got to try a few delicious recipes along the way!
Overall, this course helped me prove to myself that I’m capable and ready to step behind a real bar.
I’m excited to keep growing & explore more opportunities with ABC.
Highly recommend if you’re willing to put in the work!
I thoroughly enjoyed the class. Our trainers Mrs. T and Danielle were great. Both were professional, fun, and knowledgeable about the industry and their craft. They had no problem with giving individual attention to those who needed. this was a great class to take. I truly enjoyed myself.

I recently completed the program at ABC Bartending School, and I can’t say enough good things especially about my instructor, Mark. As someone from a military background, I was a little unsure of what to expect, but Mark made me feel right at home from day one.
We connected instantly he understood where I was coming from, and his teaching style really clicked with me. Mark has that rare ability to be both professional and approachable. He taught me everything I needed to know, from the basics to the finer points of bartending, and made the whole process enjoyable and engaging.
What stood out most was how much Mark genuinely cared. He took the time to answer every question, share real-world knowledge, and make sure I felt confident behind the bar. His experience, patience, and sense of humor made a big difference for me.
Thanks to Mark and ABC Bartending School, I now feel fully prepared to take on the bartending world. If you’re looking for a solid education in bartending and want to be taught by someone who truly understands and cares, ask for Mark. You won’t regret it.
Recién terminé mi curso en esta escuela y la experiencia fue maravillosa. Es un curso bastante bueno ya que te enseña todo lo que necesitas para que cuando termines te sientas listo para trabajar detrás de una barra, así me siento yo ahora mismo. This class was absolutely exceptional! Very knowledgeable, well-structured, and incredibly in-depth. I learned so much more than I expected, and I’m extremely happy with the entire process. Taking the full two weeks was the best decision because it allowed me to truly dive deep into the material instead of just learning shortcuts. I feel confident, prepared, and grateful for such a thorough and professional experience.
